Nutrient Stewardship Field Day in Illinois featured Donohue presenter
Donohue Vice President Terry Boyer presented the City of Charleston’s Nutrient Stewardship Project on July 15, 2021, at Terrydale Farms in Charleston, Illinois, hosted by the Coles County Farm Bureau. As part of their efforts to support education and outreach in the Embarras River Watershed, Coles County Farm Bureau partnered to host a field day focused on conservation practices. Presenters for this field day shared technical information about conservation, as well as updates on IEPA 319 Grant and Watershed Management Plan efforts.

WEF Collection Systems 2021 Conference Features Kenosha Water Utility Emergency Pump Station Project
Donohue’s Allen Williams will be presenting “Rising Lake Michigan Water Level Leads to 70 mgd Emergency Pump Station” at the Collection Systems 2021 Virtual Conference (March 23-25) held by the Water Environment Federation (WEF) in cooperation with the Michigan Water Environment Association. Allen’s presentation discusses Kenosha Water Utility’s (KWU) urgent response to rising Lake Michigan water levels by protecting the property and citizens with a permanent, risk adverse 72-million-gallon-per-day (mgd)) system, operational 7 months after initial concept.
