Donohue Active in Indiana WEA Annual Conference
The upcoming Indiana Water Environment Association (WEA) Annual Conference will include three presentations by Donohue personnel. The conference is set for August 21to 23 in Fort Wayne’s Grand Wayne Convention Center. The presentations include the following:
Donohue Presenters at Michigan WEA Annual Conference
Three Donohue personnel will be leading technical presentations at the Michigan Water Environment Association's (WEA) Annual Conference. TJ Bates will present "Primary Clarifier Rehabilitation: A Case Study," Nathan Cassity will present “Utility of the Future, The Continued Journey at St. Cloud, Minnesota,” and Christine Isaguirre will present "Biosolids Facility Planning: One Approach, Three Communities."
Donohue Names Eric Lynne Minnesota Area Manager
Donohue is pleased to announce that Eric Lynne is Donohue’s new Minnesota Area Manager. In this position, Eric will provide strategic and managerial leadership for our Minnesota clients and business. Throughout his 10 years with the company, Eric has proven to be an exceptional client advocate, project manager, and process engineer, helping Upper Midwest clients navigate projects to successful outcomes and leading Donohue teams. He specializes in water and wastewater planning, design, pilot-testing, construction, startup, and troubleshooting.
Andrew Dow Receives ISAWWA 2019 Young Professional Excellence Award
The Illinois Section of the American Water Works Association (ISAWWA) presented the Young Professional (YP) Excellence Award to Andrew Dow of Donohue & Associates. The award recognizes the outstanding YP of each year based on contributions to the water industry and for exceptional service and achievements beyond one’s years. Andrew is a water/wastewater process engineer located in Donohue’s Chicago office.
Greg Garnes Joins Donohue's Indianapolis Office
Greg joins Donohue & Associates’ Indianapolis office with 30 years of extensive project management and engineering experience in planning, design, and construction phase services for wastewater treatment facilities and water and wastewater pumping stations. His experience also includes the study and design of stormwater, water distribution and sanitary sewer collection systems in the Midwest.
ACEC MO Engineering Excellence Award for St. Louis Sewer District Pump Station
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and Donohue & Associates received a 2019 Engineering Excellence Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Missouri for the Lemay Pump Station Electrical System Transformation project. The award was presented at ACEC’s annual awards banquet in Kansas City.
PFA Funds Minnesota Projects
The Public Facilities Authority (PFA) recently announced the approval of $31.47 million in grants and loans for water infrastructure projects in Western Lake Superior Sanitary District (Duluth) and the City of Carlton. Donohue has significant involvement on several of these projects.

Battle Creek Wins 2018 APWA Southwest Branch Project of the Year Award
The Southwest Branch of the Michigan Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) awarded the Battle Creek WWTP Secondary Treatment System Upgrade project with the 2018 Public Works Project of the Year Award in the Environmental $5M - $25M category. The award was presented to the City of Battle Creek, Donohue & Associates, and Davis Construction at the recent Annual Awards Banquet.
Donohue's Emily Wehmeyer Receives IWEA 2018 Tumble Bug Award
Donohue’s Emily Wehmeyer, PE, received the prestigious Tumble Bug Award from the Indiana Water Environment Association (IWEA) during their 2019 annual meeting. This award recognizes committee members, program presenters, and others within IWEA who have worked industriously on behalf of the organization.
