Donohue and the City of Medford received the 2020 Grand Award for engineering excellence from ACEC Wisconsin. The Grand Award is presented to one project that best represents the spirit and criteria of the competition. Criteria include innovation, client satisfaction, complexity, future value to the engineering profession, and social, economic, and sustainable design considerations.

Kam P. Law, Ph.D., PE, ENV SP joins Donohue & Associates as a Senior Project Manager and Practice Leader: Wastewater Innovations. In this key leadership role, Kam will work directly with our wastewater clients to understand and address their needs and lead project teams. She brings 25 years of industry experience as a wastewater process engineer for facilities in the Upper Midwest and across the U.S. As the Practice Leader for Wastewater Innovations, she will work to advance the wastewater field, guiding Donohue teams and our clients in their efforts to effectively employ and implement innovative and emerging technologies and practices.
The South Milwaukee Water Utility and Donohue & Associates received an American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Wisconsin 2020 Engineering Excellence State Finalist Award for the New Clearwells and High Service Pump Station project.
The City of Medford, Wisconsin and Donohue & Associates received an American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Wisconsin 2020 Engineering Excellence Best of State Award for the Innovative Low Level Phosphorus Compliance project.
Donohue & Associates and the City of Joliet, Illinois received a 2020 Engineering Excellence Special Achievement Award for the “Preparing for the Future: Upgrades at Aux Sable” project from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Illinois. In addition, the project also received the Judges Choice Award.
